Question: Do you guarantee your work?

Answer: Absolutely. My business is a referral based business. If my clients are not happy, they won’t refer me on to other people. I believe that good design is a combination of Form, Function, and Fulfillment. If my design does not fulfill or enrich your life in some way, then I don’t feel I have done my job, and will do all within my abilities to rectify the problem.

Question: Are your designs “green” or “Eco friendly”?

Answer: Yes and no. I don’t promote myself to be a “green” designer for the trendy sake of attracting “green” clients. I have always been resourceful in finding the best materials, for the least amount of money. In many cases, that means shopping “AS IS”, “Scratch and Dent”, “The Reuse Center”, as well as other used furniture and supply places. Many of the items I purchase are leftovers, or deemed “scrap”, and were destined to a landfill. I have created many fantastic designs using pieces that were slated for the dump.

So in a way, I guess you could call me a “green” designer, although I really prefer to be called resourceful. As far as any other specific requests regarding Eco friendly materials, I have been educating myself daily on the latest materials, and many of them are developed using environmentally friendly materials and processes. I use Eco friendly materials when ever my clients request it and if the budget allows for it. Soon “Going Green” will be standard practice for everyone!
