PRD (Paris Renfroe Design) Miniatures was started in 2008 when owner and designer, Paris Renfroe, began to market and sell 1:12 scale models of his full size modern furniture. His designs were quickly noticed by several professionals in the miniature world and collectors began to amass his handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces.
Paris also began to build 1:12 scale shipping containers called “M112 Pods”. Turning abandoned shipping containers into livable housing is a growing trend around the world for environmental reasons and affordability. Structurally containers are ideal to use for building because they are durable, stackable, modular, and plentiful.
The M112 Pod is the perfect backdrop for displaying modern dollhouse furniture and gives the collector the ability to add more Pods by stacking the units or placing them side by side. M112 Pods are available in 20” and 40” lengths and single 8” or double 16” widths and custom finishes.
